Oregon Lodging
Close to airport and rental car. Dinning room and bar area very clean. Shuttle service provided to local restaurants.

Disappointed for a Courtyard
The first night the alarm went off on the third floor. There were firetrucks outside the front entrance for a couple of hours with lights and sirens. My room looked over this area. No call was made to my room to let me know what to do. In calling down to the desk they said I should probably come down. I packed up my things and kept looking out the front window but there were only about 8 people outside. Still no notification. After a few hours I called down again and they said everything was fine. Could I go to sleep? Yes, no problem. No information as to what had happened even though the fire trucks were still there. The second night I tried to call room service but none of the phones were working, I called the front desk with my cell phone and they said the phones were down and didn’t know when they would be fixed. I could put in a wake up call but I better set an alarm in case the phones still don’t work. I feel the hotel was extermely lax in letting their customers know what was going on and made no concession for it. Won’t be staying there again.

Nice place to stay
This hotel was a good choice. The room was clean staff was friendly and they provided free, timely, transportation to and from the airport. The bed was really comfortable too. Food at the hotel was decent and the staff was very accomodating.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Taxis are expensive and Portland is a big spread out city so plan your trip accordingly.
