Not as Pet Friendly as they claim
I was very upset to find out that once we arrived with our dog, we were not allowed to leave her in the room unattended. Meaning, if you wanted to go anywhere as a family or group, your pet had to come with you. Made it difficult and should of been explained when booking. I cancelled my 2nd night and went to Homewood Suites...It was worth the 100.00 pet deposit (nonrefundable) to be able to leave her there if we needed to.

Noisy room
Combination of thin walls; cheap,thin, totally inadequate door connecting with adjoining room and noisy wedding guests resulted in 2 nearly sleepless nights

Not impressed would not stay there again, mediocre at best!
The rooms are OK, bathrooms small and outdated. Very nice room service staff but food is mediocre.Very small bar, there were two weddings this weekend of my stay, we had 1 1/2 hrs before reception couln’t get near the bar for a drink and ther is no other facility in the Hotel. Admittedly Portsmouth is full of great restaurants and bars, but you think they would try to compete a little and keep you there. i would not stay there again even for the convenience of a wedding.
