Great couple retreat!!
Although we did not partake in any specific spa treatments we did use the spa pools. What a relaxing way to end your day. We dined at Charlie Bs which is at the inn and the atmosphere was relaxed with a real wood fire in the fireplace. The food was excellent as was our overall experience. We would definitely return. Not bad for a promotional stay
never got the chance to interface with any hotel staff except at check-in and out, which was average service. I booked 2 rooms, one was kept up on a daily basis, but the other next door was not. The pub style restaurant was less than good in food & service. The spa looked good, but the budhist prayers being played throughout on the overhead speakers were a turn off - zen music is fine, prayers are not. Not sure I would return.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The area is wonderful for skiing in season, hiking its many trails, walking or biking the path on Mountain Rd., travelling the gondola, or just sightseeing the mountainous beauty.

A Perfect FIt
What a perfect fit for our family. The hotel was better than I expected. It has a casual feel to it and yet you feel like if you want to be pampered you can be. We did not take advantage of any aspect of the spa but we enjoyed the pool, especially the night the pool was open until 8 pm. The room was very clean and served our purpose of sleeping and getting ready for the day. I especially appreciated the fact that I actually enjoyed taking a shower instead of feeling kinda of grossed out like many other experiences in the past at other hotels. The staff was very friendly (not overly so) and helpful. They were especially helpful in helping us find a great hike and a perfect place to rent bikes for the day. Finally, the hotel is located in a central location. We even walked to dinner a few times! We will be back next year!!!!
I wasnt sure if the hotel was going to be appropriate for my 2 children (6 and 9) but it was just fine and there were other children too.
