Always a good place to stay
A little rough with the elevators and stairs. They are doing a great job at remodeling. Staff is terrific. Food is good too.

Not well maintained kinda gross
This was probably a nice hotel 30 years ago but not anymore. The deferred maintenance list in our room would be endless (rusty sink drain, broken coffee pot, peeling paint, filthy corners) plus the safe required quarters for each use and the ’furnished balcony’ is just 2 plastic chairs and a little table. There is no dvd player and the chairs are not comfortable, the elevator is rickety and none of the doors fit right (there are visible gaps around the outside doors). Also the ’security’ on the door is just a chain.
Traveler's tip on dining
Flaningan’s has awesome lunches and dinners and is reasonably priced. Service is excellent.

Hotel’s OK, but the Neighbors!
The hotel shows its age but we had no major complaints. More tv channels would have been nice, the room could have been a little cleaner. There was a balcony on the intracoastal. But the restaurant next door has fans on the roof that never shut off. Maybe we’re sensitive. Maybe if you live in a city and you can block the noise out it would be very enjoyable on the balcony.
