Excellent!
The view was beautiful, and the walk to the beach was cake. Our room was spacious, and had everything we needed. Do note that theres no wireless internet in the rooms, but its available at the reception area. It was really beautiful place to stay.

Cant wait to go back
This is the third year staying here and we will probably stay there again next year. The hotel is an easy walk to Orient beach. The included breakfast is very good but would be nice if the offerings changed a little during the stay. We ate lobster in the restaurant that was absolutely wonderful. My one wish for upgrade would be fast internet in the rooms, it is now available in the lobby.

Great Honeymoon
My husband and I stayed at La Plantation for our honeymoon. Renting a car is a must; it is the best way to see the island. From the airport to the hotel is about a 35minute drive. Check in was a breeze and our ocean view room had its own driveway for our rental car. The rooms are spacious and quaint. There is a kitchenette: two burners, mini fridge, utensils and microwave. I cooked often because we also had a patio with a table and chairs. Having dinner out there in the evening was amazing! The complimentary breakfast suited my husband and I just fine even though the menu never changed: fruits, bread, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, wo different types of cereal, milk, tea, coffee, and juice. The beach was a five minute walk and the hotel is inside a community. So, security is tight in the evening (locked gates and security at check in points). When you check in, you are given a card for a daily beach towel and another card to charge your drinks or meals from the beach to your room. The card is accepted along orient beach. Although the hotel attempted to give us a Queen-size bed, it was clearly two twins pushed together. But, the canopy was a great touch! This is not the best hotel on the island but it was worth the money and when we return, we plan to stay here again. Watch out for wasp nests! Very few people spoke English! Knowing French helps a lot. The US dollar is accepted everywhere.
