Reasonable to stay....
First, it stands out of the dirt, chaos and noise of the city center...has a beatiful garden arrangement, so silent there you can wake up with birds singing.. Breakfast is acceptable, prices are valuable, staff was friendly, welcoming and can speak english..this is essential during Italy vacations :) Briefly, worth to lodge...
Traveler's tip on dining
Restaurants within the area are mostly Italian style..no english speaking..try city center if you can for dinners..or you may prefer the hotels restaurant..looking clean and in order..

It was nice but the help staff seemed a little snotty.
It was a clean and nice hotel. A couple things bothered me. One, I booked through expedia and they only put in for a double bed eventhough it was a "family seized room" and was supposed to fit 5. Then the hotel tried to charge more for each person eventhough I paid for the biggest room that fits 5. That seemed a bit greedy and petty. It was cold in February and the heaters were totally inadequate. They finally put in space heaters but only after complaining for a couple days. The food was OK but the waiter was snotty and was annoyed we were there and shook his head like he knew what we were saying and did the wrong thing anyway. I guess I wouldnt recommend. The good thing was someone was there who spoke English all the time.

Needs work
The hotel grounds are very nice. I thought by the pictures that is was off by itself on some acreage. IT REALLY IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOOD. I wish I could have picked it up and placed it on the coast somewhere. Th entrance was a dangerous alley way. I was almost struck by cars a few times. The neighborhood surrounding it is a bit dirty. Graffiti was everywhere. The food at the hotel was average so we went out to eat. Our room was adequate showers for someone my size were almost unusable. The room was not well lit and looked as if it was under renovation. The beds were rock hard and smaller than an American twin. The internet wireless service for Mac users only worked in a two square foot area. This hotel is listed as a three star. I would rate it a middle two.
Traveler's tip
Dont be afraid to drive. I got a thrill out of it. The fun is going out of the city and exploring the coutryside.
