Very Nice Place
This is 2009 and there was no smell of cigarette smoke. Our room was cleaning and welcoming. For Europe a good sized room. It looks like they recently redid it. The desk staff were helpful in every way. We found the walk fine. It felt good after having been on the train for 3-4 hours.

Poor customer service and maintenance
It would seem that they are "letting go" of the hotel... it’s just not well kept, even though is new. It is also the only hotel in Europe that does not have a bell boy... and it’s 4 stars!

Non-Smokers Stay Away!
The Hesperia Parque Central is a beautiful hotel that boasts its location between old town and new town. While it is a beautiful hotel, it’s located in the middle of nothing. Wherever you’ll want to go you’ll need a cab or you’ll be taking a 20 minute walk to nearest metro. What really irritated about my stay was the fact that the ENTIRE hotel wreaked of cigarette smoke! As soon as you walk into the lobby it hits you like a brick wall. The smell has permeated into the elevators, the hallways, and into the rooms. If you’re a smoker than you shouldn’t mind a bit. As a hotel guest that was given a non-smoking room, I felt that it wouldn’t have really made a difference I still had to deal with the stench of cigarette smoke. Each time you come back to your room you have to deal with that awful stench. I wouldn’t even think about recommeding this hotel to a Non-Smoker.

it was far enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to the center of valencia. a very beautiful hotel.
