Not impressed
The hotel staff was somewhat friendly but not at all useful if you do not speak Spanish. I had to call 4 different lines to order a sandwich from room service because nobody could understand my English, Spanish, or French. Very strange for a hotel in downtown Madrid to have people so terrible with language. Location is central but immediate surrounding area is not very nice. Graffiti and lots of trash around. The hotel gives a nice appearance once inside the lobby but the rooms are not that exceptional.

I had a good time at Hotel Liabeny!
It’s my first time in Madrid, Spain. I found this hotel from website and thought it’s not bad, so I booked it. On arrival from Sol Metro station, it’s a bit confusing which road was which. After spending some time oriented myself, I found the hotel easily. The overall condition in the hotel was great, although not extremely superb. But the location was very good for both shopping and walking tour around the city.
