Best hotel for budget price!
I stayed overnight at Best Western Ambassador Hotel in Dusseldorf, Germany last Oct. 10 on my way to the Convention in Oelde the following day. The hotel although very old is well-maintained, I was impressed on how they were able to maintain the original equipment like the elevator and other hotel accessories. The staff were very courteous and friendly.I highly recommend it!

A Nice Surprise
This hotel is located near the train station or bahnhof, which often means poor quality in a hotel in Europe. But, this Best Western was clean, friendly, and overall a wonderful hotel. I will stay their again on my next trip to Dusseldorf.

close to Hbf, not a honeymoon destination
The hotel was only a block from train station which was my greatest concern to get an early flight out. The area does have a lot of street people but I never felt in danger. I would not suggest a single female foreigner makes the walk after 11:00 PM. Room was decent, typical of German hotel small shower, mini elevator, no bar of soap. Will use again for convenience not spa treatments.
