Had to change room after 2 days

We settled in, unpacked everything. Next door neighbors, had no consideration for anyone else. Had TV loud until after 2am. I figured they were excited with their lst nt..Waited another nite...same thing...No children..Just two inconsiderate adults...Went to front desk...changed rooms... New neghbors had a small baby but they were very considerate, even with a small child..We enjoyed the rest of our stay....

Great Property for Budget Hotel

Disney’s Pop Century Hotel is a great property for families and those on a tighter budget. The rooms are similar to a good Super 8 hotel but the property offers many more ammenities. It offers all the perks of a Disney hotel and has free transportation to any Disney attraction within the park.

Everything We Needed

This hotel was perfectly fine for what we needed on a short first trip. We pretty much only slept there and ate a few meals at the food court. Everything was clean and people were very helpful. All the checking in and out was very easy. The staff helped us with everything we needed. Next trip, we’ll probably spend a little more money on a hotel because we would have liked to have a sit-down restaurant option. After a long day at the parks, it would have been nice not to have to serve ourselves at the food court.

Disney’s POP

W really enjoyed this place. We’ve stayed here before and will surely return again. Check-in service was good - staff was very friendly. The price was right and the location was great - only took us a few minutes to get to all the parks. It was so easy to follow all the signs. We were on the 4th floor in the 70’s building and enjoyed it. We didn’t have too far to walk to get to our car. The grounds were well kept and loved all the fun details everywhere. The food in the food court was good - we ate breakfast there every morning and grabbed snacks for the afternoon. Beds were comfy. And while the room is on the smaller side it suited us fine. We had no noise issues- no issues at all.

Not coming back (just in nightmares)

We started wrong right from the begining. We arrived to the hotel 10-15 minutes before midnight, since we left Panama many hours before and were traveling with 2 kids, we were hungry; went to the restaurant and even tough we arrived 3 to 5 minutes before midnight, we were prohibited to order anything because they were closing at 12, even though it wasn’t the hour. The room was cramped, the food terrible not even able to have at breakfast a decent cup of coffee because the espresso machine was broken. Terrible experience, not a 3 star hotel but closer to Tijuana accomodation. If you want to get depressed stay there.

Very Convenient

Very nice place to stay and Disney buses take you everywhere you want to go on Disney grounds in a reasonable amount of time. The hotel was kind of small, but if you’re out at the parks all day, it’s no big deal!

Will Stay There Again

Pop Century is really a great hotel for the money and the use of the disney buses. We have stayed here a couple times and always enjoy it. The grounds and the pools are really great. The rooms are on the small side but always clean. We stayed at Halloween and they had alot of things for the kids to do. They have a really nice food court too. We will be going back in a couple months.

Love Disney

I have gone to Disney for the last 8 years in a row and have stayed on property for the last 5 and have stayed at 4 of the different hotels. I found Pop Century to be great for the money. Our room was clean and we were on the backside of one of the buildings which made it really quiet. I would ask for the same room again. There are a lot of choices in the cafeteria but it can be really crowded. If you go, get the refillable mug. You can refill it as often as you like for your stay and it easily paid for itself. Overall, it’s a value!

Disney’s Most Fun Resort

This was the second time that I had stayed here and again I got everything you would expect in a Disney Resort Hotel. Great Service, Friendly Staff and Fun in the Sun. This is truly a Top Notch Value Resort, and I recommend this to anyone who loves nastalgia. From the Bowling Pins on the 50’s side to the Cell Phone’s on the 90’s side, this resort has an era for everyone. On our first trip we stayed in the 70’s section, and on the second trip, we stayed in the 80’s section. Rooms are small, but my family and I believe that when you are at Disney, that unless you are sleeping or showering, there is no reason to be in your room, so size did not bother us at all. The food court has wonderful food (I recommend the Tye-Dye Cheesecake) and the shopping is wonderful. Make sure you take the time to walk around the resort to see all the fun, giant toys that are about, and check out the shadow boxes in the lobby area, as I am sure something in them will bring back wonderful memories. Make plans to stay here. You will not regret it for one minute!

Make sure you can be at the Food Court when the staff stops what they are doing to so alittle YMCA, the Hussle, ect. Take to time to join in and have some fun. They list times in the itinary that you recieve upon check-in.

Very Nice for the Price

I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are on a budget. You cannot beat the price and it is VERY convenient to get to the parks! It was comfortable and the pool was very nice. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Would stay here again forsure!!!

Food can get very expensive, so I do recommend the food plan if you are on a budget. Otherwise you will run out of money very fast. The food is really good, but really expensive.

Disney at a Fraction of the Price

The Pop Century Resort is one of Disney’s 4 value resorts, but in my opinion, the best one. Its central location means that all of the parks and Downtown Disney are just minutes away, and we rarely waited more than 5 minutes for a bus to go anywhere on Disney property. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. We found the food court/mini mart for food convenient, since we could get small a-la-cart items and eat them on the way or in the park later. The pools were a bit of a disappointment [we had the 1980s/90s computer pool, which is one big square that’s shallow along the sides and "deep" (4.5’ or so) in the middle], but since we basically used them to cool off, it wasn’t a huge deal. The biggest drawback is that the walls are thin. While this wasn’t any more apparent than any other motels, we had a loud family with a crying baby in the next room, whom we heard on more than one occasion. Since we were in the parks most of the time it wasn’t too bad, but we were woken up at 4am by the crying one morning. Overall, if you’re looking to save some money and still enjoy all of the perks a Disney resort has to offer (package service, extra magic hours, etc.) then Pop Century is a great choice.

Visit in the Fall when the weather’s a bit cooler (mid 70s to 80s). We really enjoyed EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival, which is a great treat you won’t find anywhere else. you can also enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. But teh best perk is that the crowds are lighter--we rarely waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a ride. Now that we’ve visited Disney twice at this time of year, we’ll never go back to peak season!

Will stay there next time

The hotel was imaculate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay there again when we return.

Nice hotel

My family and I enjoyed this hotel although there were a few cleanliness issues. The tub had some "hair" in it and the carpets were stained, I was a little shocked because I figured a Disney hotel would be a little cleaner. The room was a little smaller than usual hotel rooms but the main building was beautiful and well kept. Pools were very clean and staff were excellent. Housekeeping was amazing. Love the fact that the buses were right there for all the parks and they came every 10 mins. Easy to park hop also because the buses.

This hotel is awesome!!! Nice view and locacation, very clean room, good daily clean service. but they should have refridgerator and microwave machine in the room for customers.

Did the job

We did a long weekend in Disney with our 7 month old. The hotel was cheap, but it did the job. The room wasn’t very big, but you aren’t in your room much, so that was fine. Disney’s service was great as always, and that’s what we were paying for. If you are looking for a simple place to stay in Disney for cheap, this is a great place!

Great Time

This was my first trip to Disney and Disney property. I wished I could have stayed longer. I will come back to Disney and stay at Pop Century Resort. Great value and a great place to stay

Disney’s fun resort

What a great way to vist any of the Disney parks. The resort allowed us to check in early, take the bus to Epcot, and texted us when our room was ready and we could go in. What a great technology!!! Thanks Disney for letting us have a drive free vacation...especially when you visit Epcot. :o)

Good Value

You get what you pay for. If you are looking for value, this is a good choice. Let’s face it, you will be spending most of your time at the parks, so who needs a first-class hotel? The pool was very nice, but main problem we had was the low quality sheets on the beds and low quality towels. You had to use 2 towels to dry off which I feel is a waste. In lots of windows, you see little towel animals. We even left a note for the maid to make us a towel animal, but she did not. I asked the front desk and they said there is no cost for them to do that and they must have been busy. I don’t buy that excuse because it was the slow period of the year. All in all, we will go back.

Would recommend this hotel.

Very nice Disney value resort. The room wasn’t as large as the other upscale Disney resort rooms. The overall service was definitely Disney World quality. If I’m on a budget, I will definitely stay at this resort again.

Flippers Pizzeria has the best pizza. Awesome lunch specials. Several locations in Orlando.

best disnay hotel for best economic rate

Loved this hotel! So cool how they decorate it. The hours of the food and gift shop are super late so you don’t have to worry if you get back late from the parks. Big enough so you don’t feel crowded. Bus service to parks is awesome. I think we will continue to come back her yearly.

Hotel so-so

Well, folks, you get what you pay for! The room was just adequate for two adults, a child, and an infant. With a crib and a refrigerator for formula, we barely had enough room to move around. Our room was ’way out there, about as far from the main lobby and food court as one could get. The service was fine, the concierge desk very helpful, but be prepared for lots of people and many strollers everywhere. Public transportation was always available within a very short time, and it came right to the front door. Disney’s Magical Express saved a good deal of money, and the luggage service was very good. The hotel food court served a variety of institutional-type foods, the sameness of which became very old, very quickly. However, the Disney mugs were a great deal, the ice cream sundaes terrific, and the prices very moderate on everything. All told, we would go back on a limited budget. But don’t look for any luxury here, just good prices.

Had one restaurant meal at the Italian place in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Very good food, large portions, and reasonable priced. Also found that character meals were listed as less expensive on site than the online prices. However, they must be booked in advance, since everything was sold out once we got there.

Family Resort

My older daughter and I went. This is a great place for people with families, not sure I would recommend it for couples or people like me taking my older daughter. It was a very nice hotel, with comfortable rooms.

An OK resort if you plan on being at parks most of the time.

The hotel wasn’t terrible, just a bit ’old’ smell in the room. We were not happy with the luggage delivery. We arrived at 10:15p, due to flight problems. We were told we’d get a ’silent’ phone call with light on phone, which never came. So we slept in our clothes. We called at 7:00 am to get our luggage and waited another 1/2 hour for it. I’m not sure I’d recommend the hotel, just depends on who it is. With kids, it wouldn’t be bad but just over-all, wasn’t our best experience. Not enough seating in the dining area, very short in that area. We also requested a king bed when we made the reservation and got two doubles instead.
