Very comfortable in an attractive atmosphere.
My daughter and I enjoyed our brief stay at the Chattanoogan very much. The beds were so comfortable with crisp sheets and excellent mattresses. The hotel is attractive and clean, and the staff were professional and courteous, though not quite as friendly as I expect here in the South. Although I didnt have time to enjoy them, the restaurant and lounge were very inviting. I will definitely be back!

Good Value-ver convenient
Overall the hotel is a good value and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet is not recommended, however.
Traveler's tip on dining

Business class hotel, but enjoyable as a family vacation stay as well
The quality of the room was very good. We were traveling with our young grandchildren and stayed in a room with 2 double beds. We would have preferred 2 queens and with the overall quality of the hotel, were surprised that 2 double beds instead of queens were the norm. Nevertheless, the room was large enough to not feel cramped at all, and the food we ordered for room service both nights was very good. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Our granddaughters are 4 and 5 years old and as it turned out, the pool was perfect for them. The depth of the pool ranged from 3 to 3 and 1/2 feet, but it did get a bit crowded at times due to its relatively small size. It is really designed as a lap pool, but clearly there was a sufficient clientele of family vacationers to warrant a larger pool. The free electric shuttle (provided by the City of Chattanooga) was only a couple of blocks away and in just a few minutes we were in the plaza where the aquarium is.
