The temple of luxury
This hotel is absolutely amazing. It is established in an old hacienda, in the middle of the mexican countryside. They have settled the restaurant and the administration in the main building, and the rooms are in the former employee’s little houses (only 12!)in the park, thus providing the clients a lot of intimacy. Although they have chosen to keep the ancient look of the exterior walls of all the buildings without renovating them too much, thus keeping this beautiful ’old hacienda look’, the interior is absolutely all contemporanean luxury : our room (or our mini house!) was gorgeous with beautiful furniture and decoration, a magnificent bathroom with both a shower and a big stone bath tube,flowers everywhere...The hotel has also a spa, and cherry on the cake, the most beautiful swimming pool ever, placed in the main room of a house in ruins, in which they have kept its beautiful columns. Incredible!! In conclusion, I would say that this place associates charm and culture with the top in contemporean decor and hotel professionalism and service...while keeping your intimacy. My husband and I have traveled a lot, and we can say it is one of the best hotels we ever have visited in the world.
