stay here!
I will stay here again! A great little hotel next to the Metro (2 minute walk) and within walking distance (5 minutes) of Gare Est (East Station). Good rooms, great service, everything was brand new, good breakfast. Many eating places withing a 2 minute walk. But late night, beware where you walk, there are some interesting people (including homeles and beggars in the area)
Traveler's tip on dining
about 20 places to eat within a 2 minute walk. Try the Chinese place and the Gyro place withing sight of the front door. All the food places are vry good vaule for the Euro

Small, but Quaint and Comfortable
We chose the Comfort Inn Gare de LEst because of its reasonable pricing and proximity to a convenient Metro stop. Overall, we were mostly pleased with the experience. The hotel is located in a very residential neighborhood with fast food restaurants, ethnic grocery stores and hair and nail salons. We spent very little time in this neighborhood because there was very little to do and there was a somewhat dicey element of people hanging around at night. We never felt unsafe, however. It was easy and convenient to get to all of the major sites from the Metro at Saint-Denis - Strasbourg within 15 minutes or less. The rooms are very small and somewhat dated, but they are clean and include private bathrooms. The hotel is a series of three courtyards with an elevator and outdoor stairwells. Each room faces one of the garden courtyards. The rooms include a small TV, a desk, a chair, and a wardrobe, notably missing an alarm clock which cost us one morning due to oversleeping!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
There are several companies that offer walking tours, bicycle tours and segway tours in English through the city. They are very informative and we got so much more from our trip than if we had just wandered by ourselves. They are very inexpensive and are usually offered by scholars and students who are experts in their relative fields. They are also conducted at a comfortable pace (even all the way up Montmartre!) and are a great option for all travelers!

The rooms are very little, you can find at the room just a bed and tv.
I didnt like this hotel, the service is not good and the rooms are very little, you can not find a closet to hang up your clothes, also this hotel is not quiet.
I can not recommend this hotel to anybody.
