convienent and comfortable
Just across the street from the hotel is a large outdoor mall area with shopping and restaurants. A short drive outside of town was very scenic and close to Lake Tygart. Black Water Falls is about 45 minutes. Very beautiful scenic area. The only problem was shortage of towels. Had a bathmat the first nite..next nite none?? The room was clean but the people next door were a little noisy.. The pool was great and there is a YMCA next door that is open to hotel guests. I would stay here again. Not a 5 star but clean and comfotable!
Traveler's tip on dining
There is a Mexican restaurant across the street on the same side of the road behind the hotel. Excellent food and walking distance.

Generally OK for the family
perfectly safe, a little rough around the edges, suburban, pretty area, Starbucks close by.

Stay on Memorial Day Week end
My husband and I have stayed in Bridgeport/Clarksburg/Grafton motels before and find the Days Inn & Suites to be the most satisfactory yet. It was during the Memorial Day weekend and we found it to be clean, comfortable, well kept and had very friendly staff and other visitors. Our stay was most enjoyable. The continental breakfast was an added plus.

BAD TASTE , LOUD, OLD ROOM, SMELLS AND MOISTURE
I BOOKED THIS HOTEL BEACUSE OF THE POOL, BUT AS SOON AS I GOT THERE THE MANAGER OLD ME THAT THE POOL WAS CLOSED. HOTEL HAS BAD TASTE , IS LOUD,ROOMS ARE OLD, STRANGE SMELLS AND MOISTURE. MEDIOCRE STAFF, AND QUESTIONABLE CLIENTELE. IF YOU HAVE ANY CLASS, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Adequate
An adequate hotel for those passing through. No elevator so I had to drag my suitcase up the stairs. The room was clean but the bathroom very small.

will go back
everything with hotel was fine...except for a few guests...they were all together....hopefully not all in same room..but were really noisy on our first night..i called reception..but noise continued for approx another hour...then when we booked in for second night i reminded staff, yet we had one room right next to same people , and one down the hall. didnt complain again as i felt , no point, as nothing was done,
