Nice Hotel
I was with 3 other ladies, and we stayed for 5 nights. The Hotel staff was super friendly and very helpful, the rooms were clean, and it was very quiet. Our biggest problems were that the microwave went out half-way through the stay, but since there is one in the breakfast area of the hotel, it wasn’t a big inconvenience. We also had a difficult time getting an iron that worked--the staff attempted to replace it, but the one they brought was not much better than the first one that we had. Other than those 2 very minor issues, we had a great time. The hotel is only about 15 minutes from downtown, and right off the highway. I would definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on dining
There is still a lot of rebuilding from Katrina, so you may have to drive to find a restaurant. There are 2 small ones on the same exit as the hotel, and one more being built next door, but if you are going to stay for a few days, you will need to drive to find a bigger selection of places to eat.

Conveniently Located
The hotel is conveniently located to I-10. Checking in and out was very quick. It appears that the housekeeping dept had a shortage of face towels on my last day.

Very fair at best
We ordered a King suite and got 2 doubles instead. The first room they had us in was very musty smelling. I was given two keys to see if either of the other available rooms was better. The first was not but the second was. We moved everything into that room. The refrigerator was hot and there was only an ice machine on the first floor. It was faster to take the stairs as the elevator was extremely slow.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Spend the money to stay in the French Quarter or downtown area as you spend as much on cab fair as you would to stay down there.
