I cant believe we paid so little for so much room
I reserved a King Deluxe room. When we got there the desk informed us that the King rooms were interior rooms with no windows. At first I was a bit apprehensive and they offered us a Double Deluxe instead. I thanked them for the offer but we do like it dark at night and most hotels are so lit up we cant sleep so we went ahead and got the interior King room. Once I walked in all my concerns went out the window (oh a punn: )) The room was spaciouce and furnished with beautiful traditional furniture. It had a 50" LCD TV mounted on the wall, coffee, hairdry, ironing board and iron..all the thing one expects in 4 star properties. There is a Community Coffee House attached to the hotel. Though it is not included in the stay as complimentary, it was a nice aroma to wake up to. You do however receive a complimetary cocktail in the evening at the Marie LeVeau bar next door. The bartender there was quite friendly and full of Southern Charm. Johnnys Poor Boys are around the corner and have wonderful Sandwiches and Hot Breakfast. We will definitely stay here again on our second trip. Oh, I forgot to mention its location. Right in the heart of the French Quarter, with all we wanted to do was in walking distance.
The buggy rides, City Tours on bus, and Trolley are great ways to see New Orleans. It saves alot of shoe leather and you get real insight of the area from the Guides. You will find Tour Info boothes all over the city. It is well worth the stop at any of them to book your tours. They will set you up with what you want to do and are very knowledgeable about the tours.

Past stays here were good. Dont know what happened
the last time i stayed here it was beautiful with a huge room with bright windows etc and this time i got a room with out windows the size of a small bedroom with used soap in the tub and the tub dirty. i will probably stay there one more time just to see if it was a fluke because i do love the location
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
the day you check out they will actually hold your luggage and car till 4pm instead of making you leave when check out is 11am.

Location, location, location
For my purposes, the hotel is ideally located. I was able to walk to all of my destinations. If a person is looking for the comforts of a major hotel (plush interior, cocktail lounge, restaurant) this is not the place. It has some wear and tear to it, but it was comfortable for me and I was allowed early access (9am) to my room. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I will book a room at this Inn again upon my next visit to New Orleans.
