Business
The hotel room was very clean and the service was very good. Our trip was for business purposes and the business center facilities at the hotel needs some improvement. We tried to print some papers for a meeting, but the quality of the print out was very poor.

Nice place for a relaxed get-away
The Ponce Hilton is a nice place for a couple of days away from home: only 1.5 hours drive from St. Juan airport, nice amenities (including access to neighboring golf resort), direct beach access, good location for trips into the area, good restaurants. We found the restaurants, however, a bit overpriced, in particular the buffets; unfortunately there are few alternatives. We also found the pool not very suitable to swimming; its more of a kids’ playground. And it was a pity that a visit to the spa, which is not open on weekends, requires 24hours reservations. Last not least, it would have been nice to be able to use facilities like table-tennis and mini-gulf after dark - which was not possible due to lack of adequate lighting.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
We highly recommend a snorkeling trip to the reef at Caja de Muertos island (departing every morning from La Guancha, info material available in the hotel lobby).
