Decent hotel
The hotel is good and has a good placement (a new metro station is right at as front door). The breakfast is OK.

Modern and reasnonable location
I was somewhat concerned about the reviews I read regarding the construction noise. Although the construction is still ongoing in May 2009 I did not hear any significant noise. The decor is modern. The location is reasonable because you are about 3 blocks from the Eduardo Monument so when you go to the Park you are at the top and have an amazing view of Lisbon which stretches out to the plaza downtown and into the sea.
Breakfast is quite plentiful at this hotel so you do not need to go out for breakfast.

Central location to everything in Lisbon
The hotel staff were friendly but also expedited the checkin and checkout time. The room was spacious and simple. However, ladies, I advise that you bring your own hair drier, since the one they have in the bathroom is old and powerless. Lastly, the street that the hotel is located on was on construction, therefore made it hard to find the hotel. Make sure you ask civilians around for directness once you are around El Corte Ingles department store.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Hard Rock cafe (on Blue line in Metro at Restoradores stop) Monestario do Jeronimos (in Belem) and dont miss the Pasteis de Belem (custard cakes)bdown the street.
