Average 3-star hotel
For price what I paid I got average 3-star hotel. Unfortunately I could not get non-smoking room. And I have asked for one when making reservation. But location of hotel is quite good in quiet neighborhood, not far from S-bahn.

Great hotel for the money
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. When I arrived the front desk was very helpful, spoke perfect English and was very accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood and is steps from the English Gardens. If you are staying to be close to Oktoberfest or the party area, this isn’t the place for you. But the location is within walking distance to everything and a few blocks from the subway. The room is basic, but for the cost it was what I expected. The place was clean and in good condition.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Try Mike’s Bike Tour for a non-traditional view of the city and a few laughs and beers along the way. Take a day and see Neuschwanstein castle. Mike’s Bike Tour does a bus tour out there that was OK, but even without a tour you shouldn’t miss the castle.

Reasonable but standard fare
Munich is a lovely city and the location of this hotel is very good to the City center and parks, but is a basic hotel rather than a Munich experience.
