**Rooms R Small**
Had a nice time in Denali, hotel had very nice views of the mountains and river (not from our room). Nice hot tub set-up out side, it viewed out to the mountains and river. The transportation to and from the train depot to the hotel was great (fast and easy). Very nice place to stay but there standard rooms are small and very much standard.
Not a hole lot to do there with young children.

Not impressed
The majority of the visitors to this hotel were over the age of 70. This resort is very bare bones for the price that was paid per night. There were no special amenities. Since this is near a national park we expected to have a refrigerator and easy access to box lunches for hiking.

Very disappointing, dont stay unless you are on a Princess tour
One of the worst hotel experiences weve ever had. The hotel location is great, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Firstly, no cars are allowed, our room was 200 yards from the car. Imagine schlepping back and forth, and remember the weather in Alaska. Dont even think of staying here unless you are on a Princess bus tour (in which case they carry the luggage for you). The buildings are two-storey, and there are no elevators, this was a problem for the less mobile in our party. On the second day, we returned from our trip to the National Park to find they had put someone else in our clearly occupied room - and had hijacked our luggage! We ran out of toilet paper at 11pm, they said they would send some, but never did. Buildings are wood, and every noise transmits into the room. An overall terrible experience.
