ask for quiet side
The frist nigth our room was on the street side and the people party outside all night, we never got to sleep until around 4 am. The second night we ask for a different room and it was quieter.

Get a room in back
The only problem with this hotel is that it is on a street packed with open-air bars, and the noise from the street was loud and annoying until 2:30 a.m. We were in front on the 3rd floor. It is better to make sure your room does not face the main street

Too loud to sleep!
The hotel is great but the location is great in the daytime but at night the party people hang out at the local pubs (which are many) and sing the night away. The pubs stay open until 3am. So, forget sleep until at least 3:30am and there is nothing the hotel staff can do to stop it. It is a shame since the hotel is great. They are very big on the nightlife in that part of town.
