Good Hotel
I really liked the hotel, food was good at the buffet but very litte food at other restaurants. It was hard to make appointments to go the restaurant specially for a group of 8! Drinks weren’t so good but we asked for extra liquor! Oh and they advertised tips are included and they are NOT! Also, use the public bus is so cheap and is safe!!

Worst resort in Cancun
Worst place I have ever stayed in Cancun. Rude staff, hotel is falling apart. water all over floor when it rained. Food was horrible. Beach was horrible. The only way I would ever stay there again is if it was free.

get what you pay for
it was clean and cool. friendly staff, did not have a problem with staff speaking english. pay the extra few bucks for the main pyramid you get to choose from all of the restaurants and the people we talked to that were staying at the side pyramids had a problem with water leaking into thier rooms from rain and they could only eat at certain restaurants. there are so many resturants to choose from, you shouldn’t have a problem finding sonething to eat, some days it was better than others at the buffets. this is not a 5 star hotel. but lets face it your not paying for 5 stars. after reading the reviews i was very scared but was pleasently surprised, everything was great, well the beach was not great, but you can get in the water no problem. we went on the time share tour and it was bad, but we told them no and it was not a problem. they gave us what they had promised and that was that. sebastian at the front desk was very helpful he seemed to be around when ever we needed something whether it was what to eat that day or to take our picture. we did not encounter anyone that was rude our entire stay. we were there for 7 days. it is very far from the hub or cancun, but a 5 minute bus ride is not that big of a deal, we had talked about staying closer to the action, but when we go back it will be at he grand oasis cancun. i wish i were there today.

Honeymoon program
Honeymooners staying at Grand Oasis, Grand Oasis Playa, Oasis Cancún, and Grand Oasis Riviera Maya will receive a complimentary upgrade to suite accommodations (where available) or best possible accommodation (based on advance request and subject to availability); a bottle of champagne in their room; and one free night on their first anniversary’s return trip (minimum five-night stay) to the same hotel.
The anniversary trip also includes a room category upgrade and bottle of champagne.
Reservations for the anniversary trip must be made via this Web site and for the original plan purchased. Anniversary trip requires minimum five-night stay.
