Hotel Good Part of Weekend
I stayed at this hotel to be within walking distance of the Alamodome for the Notre Dame game on Halloween. I always stay here when I am in town for a game. The breakfast is good, the rooms are clean, there is off-street secure parking and the staff is courteous and friendly. I will be back for the Alamabowl in December...

ok at best
Had problems with the reservations but Expedia stepped up and took care of it. Only advantage of the hotel was the price and location. Little more money gets even better location and more comfort. If you are not planning on spending any time in the hotel other than showering and sleeping it is fine but if you want to stay and relax, not good

Red roof inn
Conveniently located right next to the yellow line tram which goes through the centre of town and not too far from the alamo.
You can easily get the local bus to see one of the missions outside of town. It’s a 15 drive but worth the trip. Ask your hotel about this. However driving will allow you to see more of the missions on the trail.
