Quality Materials but Worn Out
Only 3+ star hotel in area. Many quality components but feels very worn - stained carpets, non-working window shades, non-working parking security. Room size good.Large ballroom event pushed guest parking to outer fringe. Met our needs but below expectations

OK Hotel
I stayed for 5 nights, with no rental car, in September 2009. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable (nothing stellar). The hotel itself was clean and in good shape, well maintained. Coming from Central Florida, I expected more from the hotel. The "Gift" shop contained a refrigerated cooler w/ Soft drinks, 10 magazines, and a medicine cabinet size shelf of basic meds (aspirin, Tylenol, Pepto), all stuffed in what looked like an unused storage room. I was looking for snacks (cookies, crackers, chips), beer, and assorted tourist fare. I ate all my meals (3 x 5 days) at the hotel. The food was good. The service in the restaurant was bad and the cooks were slow. I started ordering lunch to my room, because it was faster than using the restaurant. The menu was kinda small, and there wasnt much variety. The food seemed overpriced for the service and menu offered. Im still not sure if thats the market value, or if it is priced high. When I asked for a cab to the airport, I got a car service and paid $30 more than a cab. All in all, it was an OK hotel. It fell short of my expectations, based on the price of the room and the web site.
