Good room, but expensive restaurant

I stayed at deluxe room and it’s clean and enough space, so very good. However food and drink price very expensive, it’s expensive much than Singapore high class restaurant.

A nice resort with crappy rooms

The resort looks nice from the outside, once you enter the hotel the lay-out is also ok. The rooms however are crappy and not very clean. We needed to switch three times before we had a reasonably clean room... The restaurants were too expensive!!! All and all a nice stay but the hotel needs to keep up the tidyness of the rooms.

Ok - definitely not luxury

Place was ok. Beach was great, but everything else was rundown. Restaurants were very expensive and not that good. Room was decent size, but shower flooded bathroom. If you can save a lot on the room, might be decent value, but don’t expect Banyan Tree because it’s not.

Old and expensive

The rooms are pretty old and uncomfortable; the food is bad and very expensive, even for Singapore standards. You need to book the return ferry to Singapore upon your arrival at the hotel. We were given a receipt to confirm the booking, but on the departure day, when we went to collect the tickets, they told us that they actually forgot to book it and there were no more seats available for the day. I have not experienced any other hotel in Bintan, but for sure I would not suggest this one...

this resort need more facilities for remodeling.

in my opinion, ragoon resort located in the good place and but building was to old and so need to be remodeling to the give to more satisfaction to customer. for example, sometimes I had difficult to use toilet stool on the rest room. and also not enough to care customer health. also all kind of restaurant price little high

Good hotel! good service.....but is this where u really want to go?

To be frank I’m afrequent business traveller and this hotel felt like any normal 4 star business hotel.Good for families.

Fantastic with small periods of disappointment

The hotel is blessed with the most fabulous grounds and is on a fantastic beach. The venue and facilities are as good as you can expect. The only small areas of disappointment is that food and drink are expensive , and while this can be swallowed the standard of food and service do not live up to the expectation of what the price is. Singapore is expensive , so this is the main reason. the quality of the food and the serving staff don’t live up to the 5 star billing that the rest of the hotel should be getting with the fantastic enviroment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone , especially golfers as the 2 courses are breathtaking . NB the 11 restaurants actually are 1 buffet restaurant, 3 restaurants , poolside snackbars and an ice cream parlour!!

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

This place has everything . 2 golf courses and all the normal stuff and then more so!!! Other activities include adventure bikes, paintballing and laser quest!!
