Management joke!
Unfortunately out stay at the hotel concinded with the school spring break. The city was crowded with teens having party which I’m totally cool with. When we got back to the hotel (around 0100) we realised that on the room next to ours there was a party with loads of teens. The mess started on the corridor and there was people in and out all the time... it seemed like a ’battle” was taking place. The hotel dispatched a couple of security guys who stood on the corridor but actually did nothing to control the situation. The party and noise lasted all night! The management could hardly be less effective and should be ashamed of their job ! The other issue is that the hotel claims to have car parking which is true.. .but there’s a very limited number of car spaces and when we got back to the hotel around 1900 there were nowhere to park the car and the hotel sent us to a paid car park!... On both issues the hotel management was a total joke!
’Al Fresco’ is a quite good Italian restaurant. Just across the road from the Islander Resort Hotel the ’4 pie luvas’ has some nice bites!
