Loved the quite location
The room was small, clean and efficient. Rather run down but more homey than tattered. I love that it was on a side street and there was no noise yet so close to everything including the the tube. From the airport it was EASY and inexpensive on the tube. I will stay there again on my next trip to London.

Good find for the price
We stayed at the Astons for a week the end of March. The office personnel were very friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves were a bit shabby by most standards but were located in a very nice area on a quiet street close to the tube station, coffee shops, restaurants and a small grocery. The kitchenette worked fine for breakfast and snacks. The bathroom and shower were very tight but we had plenty of hot water. For the price it was worth it but do understand that this is not 4 or 5 star accommodations.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Our soccer (football) playing kids enjoyed the Chelsea Stadium Tour and shopping at Portobella Market in Nob Hill. They also enjoyed people watching in the Gardens near Buckingham Palace on a sunny day.

Great Little Hotel Great Little Location
Its basic, like a little apartment. No one bothers you and its quiet. 3 mins from tube station and set in the lovely little area of London with shops and pubs, like a little London Village. 10 mins walk from museums. You are on both Piccadilly and District lines, so easy access to Heathrow. This hotel was perfect for us.
