Wouldnt stay here again
There were lights that didnt work. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall which meant that the curtain didnt fully close leading to puddles on the floor. Breakfast had few choices. Pillows were quite flat. Bring your own if you stay here. On the plus side, the hotel was quiet and the front desk person was quite friendly.

Okay, but not the Ritz Carleton.
The hotel staff was really friendly, and the pool was kind of small, but one thing I didnt expect was exterior doors. Maybe I missed it on the website, but I didnt realize it had exterior doors until I drove up. The hotel isnt fancy, but its a reasonable place to stay. Pool goes from 3 to 5 and towels are available from the front desk. This hotel is the only place Ive stayed that has donuts on their continental breakfast line up, so not so frilly, but a descent place to stay.
Traveler's tip on dining
Be warned...although there is a Red Lobster, Applebees, Golden Corral, Dennys, a Japenese Steakhouse, and several other nice places to eat, the area around the Mid-Land Mall is dying...quickly. Not much else in Elyria except for in this area.

served its purpose
Pluses: included breakfast, free wireless internet access, reasonably close to where we needed to go, friendly staff. minuses: bathtub drain clogged or very very slow. sheets in bed dont fit well - keeps coming off. overall condition fair. steps to the second level uneven - risk of falling or tripping.
