NOT a five star hotel!
Shabby decor with antiques mixed with 1970’s smoked glass and brass tables. The room was small and dark and overlooked roofs with airconditioners (we were on the 4th floor). The carpets throughout were threadbare. When we went to check out, the concierge had to go get someone to help us and then three people stood around without anyone asking if we needed help getting a cab or managing the luggage. Looking for a five star experience? Go elsewhere.

Great Getaway
Although we live in Madrid, checking into the Miguel Angel for a weekend getaway was a perfect idea. We enjoyed the lounge area, the spa (small but perfect) and the comfort of the room.
