A Brief Stay
Met up with my wife here. Impressed by their concern for customer security. She had checked in before me. Front desk validated who I was and called her in the room to ensure she was expecting me. Room was very clean and comfortable. Didn’t get to use any of the facility accoutrements, but would recommend for an overnight stay.

16 pound one-way cab fare to Gatwick Airport. Hotel has a bus which will take you to/from airport for 3 pounds.

For the price paid. . . .
Although this is a beautiful hotel, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, for the price paid for a room, I think it would have been nice to have a coffee-maker in the room so that you are not forced to go downstairs for a cup of coffee. In addition, breakfast should be included in the room cost. The food prices are outrageous ($18 for a tuna sandwich and cup of coffee). Overall, it is a very nice hotel, close to Gatwick Airport and very convenient. The room was spotless, very large and comfortable and I would definitely recommend staying there. The negatives were the cost of food and the absence of a coffee-maker.
