always a pleasent stay

we have stayed there 3 times in the last year and will return. we have a child in college in providence ri and a child in college in boston. This is a very convienent location. the service is friendly and efficent. the rooms are very clean and comfortable and worth the price.

Good Boston-area hotel

A decent priced hotel in the Boston-area. It takes about 30-40 minutes on the Red line to get into downtown. A complimentary shuttle is available between hotel and train station.

We are returning in November.

Everything was excellent - Hancocks, the pub and the lounge.

Traveler's tip

The hotel provides free transportation to the Quincy Adams T Station and the Logan Express Bus which takes you not only to the airport, but to your desired airline terminal.

Convenient, but out of the City

Great place to stay to see the sites in and around Boston. We stayed three nights and from there took short trips (30 - 45 min drives) to Concord and Lexington; Plimouth Plantation and Cape Cod; and took the T into Boston. The T was only 3/4 mile from the motel and they shuttled us down and back. So convenient, yet out of the city. The only aggravatation I experienced that in a hotel room with 4 people, they always put 4 bath towels and 4 hand towels; however, everyday I had to ask for the 4 wash cloths. Very annoying. Probably the best thing after walking all day to the historical sites was to come back to the room and that bed - most comfortable bed I’ve ever had at a hotel. Wonderful!

Overall good hotel to stay at

I prefer a firmer mattress and this hotel’s was too soft for my taste. I was disappointed that the windows in the hotel do not open, I like to have fresh air and the weather was perfect the weekend I was there.

Highly recommend Anthony’s on Pier 4 for dinner. It was the best seafood dinner I have ever had and the waiters were fantastic!

exceed my expectations

I was very impressed by the cleaniness of our room. The bathroom was very clean. The exercise room was great and well equipt. I had a great time will return.

Classy popcicle pad!

Quiet rooms, great food and resturants on site,wonderful service, friendly people, convenient shuttle service to the T station,even after 9pm after the red sox game! Hallways might have been a tad noisy but you can live with that because they go away. Would come back.

Great Hotel! We stay there all the time!

We have stayed at this Marriott several times now. The first time we chose this hotel since it is so close to where we wanted to be - right at the corners of Route 3/Route 93/Route 128 to go to the Cape, the South Shore or downtown Boston. Now whenever we go to Boston (several times a year), we specifically choose this Marriott since it is also so nice - very clean, great staff, good restaurant and bar, terrific exercise area with many pieces of equipment, including an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna!

Less than 20 minutes from downtown Boston on Route 93. Near the South Shore plaza mall and historic Quincy. Very close to subway lines if you want to bypass the traffic and parking in Boston.

Great Hotel! Terrific exercise room with pool and sauna!

The hotel was great! Very clean; staff were outstanding! The Fitness room was huge with 25+ machines of all types. The pool and hot tub were great, although the pool was only a two lane type. The sauna was nice, too! Definitely recommend!

Can’t wait to go back

I worked for Marriot in the early 90’s at a different hotel. I am glad to see that the Quincy marriot not only has maintained the Marriot standards, but improved on them. What an experience! All Staff was fiendly, food was great, room was clean, decor was great and the bed was awesome.

Too far to anything

Nice place but way over priced. Location is way up on a hill, looks more like a mountain. Very hard to get to from the highway. Not within walking distance to anything. Never climb back up the steep winding road. Does have a nice pool and weight room. Not even a continental breakfast for the price, had to pay for it.

Nice place to stay

Stayed here a few times for the Miss MA Teen USA and USA Pageants over the years. Nice rooms. Food is a little bit overpriced though. Beds are the best!

It coust less to book through Expedia than through the hotel itself.

We’ll definitely stay here the next time we visit Boston

The goods: Very clean, good size room, excellent restaurant and bar, not too far from downtown Boston. The bads: We can hear people in the hallway which can be loud sometimes.

Great Experience

When we arrived at the hotel it was over-looking the city. It was a great view. I’ve never been to Boston and the front desk was very helpful providing me with a map and information about great restaurants,etc. Because the hotel is 10 miles from he city a very convenient shuttle drove us to the T-station which is 1/4 mile from the hotel. The T-station was 15 minute ride to the city. So the location of the hotel is convenient if you want to stay outside of Boston. I have to say I really enjoyed my stay in Marriott. I would definately stay again when I revisit. Thank you!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

To understand the size of Boston a person told me all of Boston fits into Central Park. When you look at the map it may seem like a far distance from for example North End to Quincy Market but really its only about a mile. The city is very easy to walk around and very short distances to most major locations. Enjoy and dont be scared to walk.

Back again on next Boston visit

Positive experience from the start. Upon arrival to the hotel, I was pleased to find out that my room was ready and allowed an early check in. Parking was complimentary and hassle free, with no special permits required during my stay. Staff was helpful with travel information re: Boston visit. Hotel conveniently located to subway system, with free shuttle van available. The city of Boston was 10 miles away, but only a 20 minute ride via subway. Had one small bathroom problem, which was resolved quickly and courteously by the staff. Fitness room was clean with convenient hours. A very nice stay overall.

Great Hotel

Hotel was clean, our room was great. The most comfortable bed ever. A little noisy at times in the hall children running. Very close to the train, we drove our car and parked at the station. We would definately come back.

The staff was helpful and very friendly, Good location close to public transportation and GREAT PRICE. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Boston Area. Can’t wait to return.

Excellent Hotel in Metro-Boston South

This is mostly a business hotel, so they have great rates on the weekend - and there were lots of families taking advantage. The room was spacious with plenty of room for our 3 yr old and her stuff-crib, toys, books. There’s an indoor pool and fitness centre.

The Hotel says its 1/2 mile away from the nearest T Stop (Mass Bay Transit) While that’s about right, DO NOT plan on walking it. For starters, the hotel is on top of a hill and you would have to cross several busy streets. Boston drivers are legendary for a reason. Catch a shuttle, cab, or drive it.

Great service

Check in says 4pm, we got there at 1pm & they checked us in early! We wanted to sight see around Boston Fanuel Hall/Quincy Market. They have a shuttle that took us to the "T". When we got off the "T" it was after running time for the shuttle, so we called the hotel & they called a cab for us that cost $5. Very nice palce to stay.
