Sublime
This boutique hotel will make Bali the wonderful and beautiful place you are dreaming of, rather than the over commercialized and/or overcrowded experience of the beach areas. It can only be described as gorgeous and sensuous; the staff friendly and competant. We stayed 4 days and found it to be perfectly situated for walking to town and nearby gallery’s and restaurants.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Nuri’s bar up the street for steak and martini’s! The trek down the ridge opposite side of the small valley the hotel is on (start at the top and end up just below Ubud town. Visit the sister hotel "Royal" for a spectacular setting and enjoy (at least) an afternoon tea down by the river.
