Absolute Paradise
My husband and I went to Breezes Runaway Bay for our honeymoon for 7 nights. It was incredible. The resort is so much nicer in person than the pictures show. We were blown away by how nice and considerate the staff was. We think everyone should go to Jamaica at some point in their life. This resort was way more than what we expected! Beautiful beach, wonderful people, great food, great drinks, lots to do..the perfect vacation!
Traveler's tip
Be sure to bring some one dollar bills with you when you get on the bus to your resort to tip the luggage guy and driver. That will be the last time you will tip! Oh, and be prepared for some crazy driving on your way there!

This was better than expected, by far! Extremely clean and the friendliest staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Pick a different resort!
My husband and I honeymooned here and we were horribly disappointed. We changed rooms twice! The first time for cleanliness and the phone didnt work in the room and the 2nd time our room was flooded. We reported the flood and left our room, TWO HOURS later it was still flowing into our room and onto our suitcases. We had to go to the front desk to tell them how serious this was! They had no sense of urgency or customer service abilities. The lifeguards on the beach were constantly trying to sell my husband and I drugs and it was never ending, you COULD NOT relax because you spent the entire time on the beach trying to avoid them! Some of the good parts of the trip: the food and alcohol were both pretty good and the entertainment crew was pretty funny onstage. But DO NOT go to the disco club... it was lame. Overall grade: D
Traveler's tip on shopping
If you go shopping, be ready to use your negotiation skills. You will be haggling with the merchants for 5 minutes a piece so make sure you have enough time. Also carry smaller bills because trust me, they won’t break a $20 if they can help it.
