Porto Mykonos - great location, great service
This was a wonderful find. Elenie, the proprietor was the epitomy of hositality. We were greated with a glasses of champagne while our bags were taken to our room. Everything thing from the inclusive breakfast and the excellent swimming pool made this a welcome beginning to our trip on the islands. Couple of criticisms - we stayed in one of the King/Doubles with balcony (with a view of the old port). The room was small but clean. The bathroom was a bit scarey. The shower, while powerful, usually ended up flooding the entire floor!

Have been twice; would definitely stay here again
Wonderful location right up the hill from the Old Port landing. Great views of Mykonos and windmills though there is a construction site being worked on at this time for an expanded harbor. Two-level pool is wonderful. Order the Greek salad for lunch; it’s large enough for 2 people. Buffet breakfast is very good; definitely a plus. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are very comfortable each with nice patios for great sunset viewing. Free internet in lobby is a plus. We’ve stayed here twice by booking thru Expedia. It’s a great find at a reasonable price within very easy walking distance of the main shopping and dining areas of Mykonos town. Good rental car dealer down the hill from the hotel. A definite plus.
Traveler's tip on dining
Try Opa’s. Say hi to Christos the owner. You’ll know him by his very gravelly smoker’s voice. Wonderful food. Located in the heart of the old town. Hard time finding it but once you do, you’ll eat there more than once.
