Excellent service and staff. Works for business at the convention center but if sightseeing is your main goal you may want to be closer to city center.

Cabs are expensive as the meter starts running when they get the call to pick you up not from your point of origin.

Warmth and service in a faraway hotel.
The Melia Milano is absolutely beautiful. Contemporary outside, but warm and beautiful inside. The staff was quick to tend to our every need and looked for ways to be helpful. They always seemed pleased to see us whenever we approached the desk with a question or request. We felt very much at home during our stay at the Melia Milano and would look forward to staying there again.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The Melia is about a 10 minute cab ride from the main Milan piazza, the duomo, and the galleria. But, it is also away from crowds in a quiet area of the city . . . which we enjoyed after spending a day in the throng.
