Very nice vacation...would return in a heartbeat
Very nice facilities. Entertainment staff was awesome. Food is typical for an all-inclusive with buffet breakfast and lunches but the restaurants were good with no reservations needed and never much of a wait. The drive from Santo Domingo is an experience as it is 1 hour and the driving by all drivers is typical of the Carribean. Beach is very clean and there are plenty of chairs and shade. The pools are awesome and the bar staff, in fact, all staff were very friendly. Excursions from the hotel are easy to book. We highly recommend the zip-lining in the mountains. Also the scuba diving trips were incredible! The only improvement needed would be a better and bigger casino and disco.

Bayahibe best choice
If you are looking for a hotel in Bayahibe, Dreams is the best choice. The only comparable would be Iberostar that I would rate slightly lower. Nice hotel in good condition, globally well maintained. The food is above average for an all-inclusive. Pools and beach are nice. The room could be larger but is clean and nicely furnished. Globally a good choice
best period is December to March but the fall is worth trying. Its the hurricane period and hence much cheaper. However hurricanes are hopefully very rare and you can enjoy nice hotels and weather at a lower price.

Would love to go back!
Dreams was amazing!! We were there for 6 days, and there is always something going on! The beach was gorgeous, and the pools were comfortable and beautiful as well. We even had a private dinner at the end of the pier one night, and that was delicious and romantic!! The restaurants were delicious and we never had a bad meal. The drinks were strong and yummy as well!! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away to a beautiful beach location!
We flew into Santo Domingo and the ride was about an hour and a half. Try to fly into La Romana, its only about 15 minutes away.
