Grand Hyatt Beijing truly 5 star
A great experience from top to bottom. These people really get five star in every way. I highly recommend it if you do not mind parting with the money. It is very expensive. In particular the breakfast buffet was not as nice as other five stars I have stayed at yet was the most expensive I have ever seen.

Luxury and Comfort in Downtown Beijing.
The service and amenities are excellent. The location cannot be more ideal with some of the attractions around Beijing within close proximity. Do not miss the hotel pool..........You can walk from the hotel into an underground mall that 2 to 3 blocks. One exit of the mall throws you straight on to Wangfujing St with lots of eating options.

Beijing was much nicer than expected
It was our first visit to Beijing, and our first booking through Expedia. I must say, I was impressed at how easy checking in was! Everything was done online and all we had to do was show up. It was a bit difficult getting around Beijing because most people do not speak English. It was especially difficult getting in a taxi to go anywhere. The staff at the Grand Hyatt were helpful in explaining beforehand to the driver our destination. Remember to bring a hotel card with you so you can show the driver when you come back to the hotel. The Pool at the hotel was amazing! It was like being in a jungle. There were waterfalls and a great jacuzzi. The kids loved it! The hotel also has in-room massages. These were perfect for our tired feet after climbing the Great Wall and shopping. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit.
