Good price, bad pool
The hotel is an older building and is adequate, I think, for the money if you need a place to stay and are not looking for a hotel with a lot of extras. The was fairly well cleaned. My problem was that the pool, tho 9 foot deep and large, with an accompaning jacuzzi tub, was extemely over clorinated. I spent 5 hours at Lake Michigan with my kids and when we got back to HoJo, they immediately wanted to swim, as they will swim in about anything. My daughter’s eyes burned so badly after about 2 minutes she insisted we go up to our room so she could soak them with a cold washcloth. My son, who showered about an hour after swimming in the pool, woke up with a "horrifying rash" all over his chest/arms/legs. Neither one mentioned swimming in the pool again.

Air conditioner
Hotel was decent, but the air conditioner in our room didn’t work well and I stayed there in the middle of July.
