Good location if you are going to the Convention Center
Just a short walk to the beach, CCIB Convention Center, and the adjacent Diagonal Mar mall which is huge. Several blocks from the Metro and tram.

Near the beach
We chose this hotel to be near the beach, as we were traveling to Barcelona in the summer. We toured the city during the day and swam in the ocean in the evening. The beach is about 4 blocks away from the hotel. For us, it was perfect. There is a bus around the corner to the city center, about 20-30 minutes away. This hotel is in a quiet location, but there are little restaurants around the neighborhood. The hotel staff was helpful.

Not near to downtown
Hotel was adequate. Clean and roomy. Almost spartan in amenities. Near beach but a long metro ride to downtown and related tourist areas. Would recommend for business use, if in this area, but not for tourist use.
