Very nice for such a low price.
We were here to pick up family from the airport, and do a little sight seeing. It was fairly close to both. Very easy for getting in and out of. We would stay there again if we were going to be in the area.

The rude maid
The maid who refused to speak English tried to throw us out before we were ready.

I was very pleased
The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very nice, very simple. Was a N/S room on the ground floor. Pool was cool was inside/outside combo. Was convenient to zoo and airport.

Would stay here again
This hotel had a great continental breakfast, comfortable bed. Not much to the pillows and not much space for a lot of clothes but other than that one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. A lot of surrounding amenities and near Nashville Shores.

second stay ! would definately go back!!
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful,took care of my faxes, room was clean, beds were comfortable, great hot showers with lots of water pressure!! only regret is that I didnt get to use the pool!! My only complaint would be that the ice machin on my floor wasnt working so I had to go to the floor below to get ice!! but hey, I need the exercise!!

Not Impressed
Rooms were not vacuumed and there was opened soap in the shower. The indoor/outdoor pool was in very bad shape, the outdoor portion was covered and closed, the indoor portion is very small and had golf balls and beer bottle wrappers on the bottom. There was also a broken patio chair laying poolside. We left within 1 hour after arrival and got a refund.

A Cozy and Efficient Stop
I love it when the staff are ready and waiting to unobtrusively be of assistance and politely offer solutions (before offering explainations or excuses). The room was warm and inviting. I don’t know what the root problem was, but the toilet had to be plunged twice. Again, the staff was prompt when called. The continental breakfast was the best I have experienced for this level of lodging (fresh food and well attended). Given the plumbing problem, I don’t know if I would want to stay any great length, but it is definately a cozy and efficient stopover.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
I grew up in this area long before this hotel/motel was built. While in the area you would not want to miss visiting The Hermitage -- Home of President Andrew Jackson. The area is named after his home. Beyond that, the Hermitage area delevoped quite a range of shopping options that were not here when I left. Orient yourself around the intersection of Old Hickory Blvd. and Lebanon Rd. and you are not likely to get lost no matter where you roam.

It is a nice place to stay for a night or two.
The beds were very firm, but I think most motels have firm beds. It has a nice, little pool. The motel is in very busy area and I would not recommend wandering very far on foot.

Beds aren’t too comfy!
The beds were very very VERY firm and my husband and myself didn’t sleep well at all the two nights we were there. When we book a hotel we usually look at room comfort simply because if we don’t sleep well, the rest of the trip is kind of dampened somewhat.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We loved the Hermitage and BelleMeade Plantation, also there was a place called Providence Place that had shopping and restaraunts that is not on the new maps you are provided...however, the people at the front desk told us how to get there. It took less than 5 minutes, and it was a great experierence.

Pretty nice
This hotel was a nice place to stay while we were traveling from Maryland to Texas. It was very quiet, the staff was very friendly, and it was convenient to a lot of restaurants and stores. The room was a little humid, so it felt almost like the bed sheets were slightly damp, but other than that it was comfortable. The shower felt great, and the area itself seemed pretty safe. We found a park just a few minutes away across from a police station that was perfect for my 2 year old son. For the price we paid, it was great.

Disappointed
Being from Michigan and just leaving 20-30 degree weather. Me and my friend where standing outside about 10:00 p.m. on saturday night enjoying the 72 degree weather and the manager came over and told us that we needed to go into our room or he was calling the police because of the disturbances that where being created by other guests, first he assumed that we where making the disturbances. For the record I am 38 years old and I felt that if I wanted to stand outside my room and enjoy the beautiful weather that I had every right especially after paying for the room. So yes I am very disappointed. It has been a long time since I was told what to do especially when my father just passed away a year ago.
