Pleasant stay
Nice hotel with well-maintained grounds and interesting outdoor artwork. In the Fig Garden area of Fresno so close to many restaurants. Great for the business traveler.

Conveniently located
Have stayed here numerous times over the past 20 years. Located a few blocks from my home, we utilize this hotel when we have company, and more recently, the past 2 years while having home renovations done. More comfortable than a regular hotel/motel. This room was the least comfortable that we have stayed in over the years, but overall, I recommend this place.

Getting there, but needs work
The San Joaquin has been going through some upgrades, but they aren’t quite there yet. Staff is friendly and accommodating, exterior and garden are beautiful, but the carpet in my room was stained in various places. However, gated access and all-suites rooms make it worth a few minor detractions.
