Nice hotel, nice room but too noisy!

We just got back from a weekend stay and we didn’t get any sleep. We were woken up by outside noise. The room was comfortable...no problems there. Unfortunately, there were cars honking all night and ambulances! In the morning the housekeepers/maids began cleaning at 8:30 a.m. and they yelled at each other across the hall, vacuumed, slammed doors. Other than that, the hotel was great.

Traveler's tip

If you want to take the hotel’s shuttle to the strip, be advised that it takes a while to get there! You make a stop at Sam’s Town (a great hotel/mall complex with a great buffet) and have to wait an hour for the next shuttle, which drops you off at Harrah’s and another hotel across from Circus Circus. Unfortunately, that takes about another 45 minutes. We found it worthwhile to pay the $25 cab fare to get back to the hotel after the long trek to the strip!

perfect location!

its in the center of fun! walk out the doors and theres things to do to your left and to your right. the hotel itself has plenty to offer and the staff is great. if i had one complaint, it would be the constant beeping of horns from people outside the hotel. it didnt matter what time it was, people just wailing on there horns all night. the room was a little smaller than anticipated but not a big deal. we had a great time and are looking forward to the next stay...i love it out there!!!someone please take me back!

The hotel is very nice all personnel were very nice and helpful. The room was cleaned daily it was very nice and confortable.

Great Location, but small room

The Freemont Hotel is located in the middle of Freemont Street, close to all the action. However the room was small (felt like a shoebox), but really how much time do you spend in the room...so we were okay with the size. Had a little problem with the A/C not cooling the room, but Maintenance took care of the problem in a very timely manner. Freemont Street is a great change from the Vegas Strip...more intimate feel, cooler with the canopy above and just an overall less crazy crowd of people.

The Freemont Hotel has great dinner specials at their restaurants "Paradise Buffet & Cafe" and "Tony Roma’s". Their Prime Rib was awesome.

THE BEST

our stay here at the fremont hotel was the best ever. i loved everything about it. we checked in at like 1230 am with no problem wnet to our room which was cozy. the price was the best of all. the room was kinda on the small side but it didnt matter. the furniture and theme of the room was real nice and seemed to be recently renovated. most comfortable bed and pillows i have ever slept on in my life. the bed was a posture pedic. (we checked) lol. our view was nice. the hotel has the best buffet inside for a wonderful price. we also went to the MGM buffet for double andit could not compare to the buffet in the fremont hotel. we stayed up all night til like 5 to 6 and there was breakfast to buy in the casino. very convenient and well priced. best price on heinekins in all of las vegas. we just had a great time here. we hope to find a rate as great as we found last time to go again. love it. i can not express how much.

for all of your meals eat here at fremont. they have the best buffet for a real good deal. the best prices on beer. and the best prices on food to just take up to the room. stay downtown save money and buy a bus pass and enjoy the ride.

Service and desk personnel were very helpful and polite. They made me feel very welcomed and I will visit again.

You get what you pay for...

The room itself was small and it was a little out dated but overall we had great hotel service. We were able to check in early without paying any extra fees. The registration desk was professional, the housekeeping staff was considerate.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Staying Downtown saves you money. The strip has gotten to be so expensive. Downtown is much more mellow and low key but still a lot of FUN!

Poor customer service

Welcomed and assisted by a less than friendly staff member. Long line with two staff members, one of which was in training. Therefore, only one member was processing guest. Hotel too much smoke and the rooms were really small. No fridge, microwave or coffee pot. Only one chair furnished therefore, the other person had to sit on the bed. The hotel is located next to the Fremont light show and it is loud. Was hard to fall asleep until the show was over.

Don’t be cheap........spend a little more money and you get the amenities along with comfort. In other words, you get what you pay for.

Hotel staff was excellent. Room a bit small and decor seemed outdated but clean. Room is nice for short stays.

Close to everything

if you are looking to get a way and have a nice time away from the crowds this is it. reasonable rates, nice atmosphere, walking to plenty of entertainment.

A fun change from the strip

We liked being able walk around the hotel area, and have so many fun activities going on around us.

Much better than I expected

I found the staff very helpful. The Hotel was much cleaner than I expect. The food was great. My room was spotless. My bed was comfortable. My whole experience at the Fremont was a great one. Yes I’ll stay there again.

Great location

Decent quality hotel and for this location at this price it absolutely can’t be beat. Stayed at the Luxor the following week and the Fremont was hands down the better of the two.

OK, BUT!!!

I have stayed here about 5 times its near by alot of casinos great place. this is first time i had any problems. i got bites under my arms then my legs, i had them spray the bed for bugs then it was ok. i would stay their again but have them spray the bed first.other than that the stay was great

Great place to stay

I was a little worried after reading some reviews. This hotel is great! Quick check-in, easy quick access to valet parking which is FREE. On the strip you will wait a long time for valet to get your car, here it was very quick. This is important since i was here for convention. i would definitely stay here again.

If you go to ABC you can get beers for half the price of the casinos, and they are cold!

It’s like a Motel 6

You can compare it to a Motel 6 that went through a remodel and is decorated in modern decor. It’s very smokey, loud (can hear everything!). It was pretty bad. I wouldn’t ever recommend it to anyone

Great value for the money

Clean and comfortable rooms, right on Fremont and the staff was great!

What the H _ _ _ !

My husband and I have stayed in many places (several in Vegas) and have NEVER been treated as rudely as we were on our trip this time. We wound up checking out before we even stayed our first night. We were treated rudely by not 1 but 3 different individuals (a bartender, front desk personnel & a customer service rep). We will never stay at the Fremont and will strongly recommend that you do not either.

Second Stay at the Fremont Hotel

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Fremont. I would have to say the room I had last year was larger. The room on this stay was a corner room which is probably why it was smaller. It was great for one person but probably not suitable for two. The beds are some of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in Vegas. The halls were very quiet so sleeping was no problem. I did not hear any noise from the FSE which was great. The casino does not have that great of drink service so I bought a lot of my drinks from the bar but Heineken and Coronas were only $2.00, great deal. I also recommend the Paradise Buffet for the champagne brunch, very good and they’re always there for champage refills! I would definately stay here again and would recommend the Fremont for those who don’t need all the bells and whistles. Hope to see you again in a few months Fremont!

Not bad

Not a bad room at all. Tasteful decor, and very clean. The only problem is we were in a room on the side of the street that faces the Freemont street experience and the music could definitely be heard. We’d be willing to stay there again though.

Right in the middle of the Fremont Experience. Good price for a moderate room (no frills).
