Traveler's tip
This recent trip to Huatulco involved a change of planes in Houston and when we tried to board the plane we found that the flight was oversold and only one of the two of us had a seat, necessitating an over night stay in Houston and the loss of one night of our visit to Huatulco. Very disappointing.

Would love to go back, very impressed.
As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the excellent staff with smiles and cocktails. It was a wonderful feeling after so many hours of traveling. The facilities are absolutely beautiful. At this hotel, everyone understands what customer service is all about. Food is a little expensive, but you will not be dissapointed. Try the tlayudas! We hope to go back in the future.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
At least once, try the restaurant at the hotel. Absolutely wonderful food. Don’t be afraid to leave your hotel. Visit "La Crucita"(nearest town,) and the weaving factories.

Best in Huatulco
This place was awesome- well designed, super quiet, very peaceful, beautiful environment with a private beach club and great service. Asolutely no complaints. We looked at other Hotels in the area and by far this one is the best. I hate to say this because I don’t want it to get found out and not be available next time I go.
Traveler's tip on dining
The local town of Cruicetta (sp?)is amazingly clean (like the rest of Huatulco) and has great local food outside of the obvious tourist trap restaurants that were recommended by the locals; street tacos on the main street in to town, a street cart (on the park) that sells the best hamburgers I have ever tasted (with grilled pineapple)
