Great for King’s Island trips

My husband and 9 year old have stayed here twice this year for a King’s Island trip (and stayed a couple of years ago also). The first time we arrived at midnight and the frig was not working (we like to have drinks at night instead of going to the vending machine). We told the management and by the time we arrived back at the hotel the next day, a new one was provided with our drinks inside. The room for us was very comfortable along with great pillows (wish I knew where they got them from). The pool is a little small, but we were there to ride coasters and swim in King’s iland’s wave pool. Pool is not good if you are to spend a lot of time at the hotel. Everyone was very nice. We could even see the fireworks from our room. The continental breakfast was great during peak times (summer), but in October there was not as much of a variety, but still had enough stuff to choose from so that everyone got something they liked. This is not some fancy hotel, but was a perfect place for us.

Very Relaxing and Private

Our full intensions to stay at this hotel was to go to Kings Island which is litterally 2 minutes up the road! Sadly the weather didnt come through but we made other plans. The hotel is righ next to the Harley shop, McDonalds, Taco Bell, and many other resturants. Its not difficult to find just right off the interstate! The room was very spacious and clean. I thought I could smell a hint of smoke but it never really bothered me. The bathroom was huge and it was really nice to have a fridge and microwave even though we didnt use it. We stayed on the first floor and I was suprised that I didnt hear any noise from the above levels. Overall this hotel was extremely nice and the front desk receptionsist were extremely nice! Recomend to couples and family!

Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Value

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times & love it. The suites are roomy & well-appointed. The indoor pool has always been warm, clean, & well stocked with towels. Breakfast is about the best of any hotel I’ve stayed at- several hot food selections as well as cold cereal, fruit, pastries, etc., & the breakfast is well stocked even until the end of the breakfast period. The staff has always been top notch- very friendly & efficient. I’ve never had to ask for extra towels or toiletries, never had a complaint. A great value, great location just off the highway, but without the highway noise.

Head North on I-71 about 45 min to the Outlet mall. Great bargains.

moderate hotel

Overall this is a good hotel. The continental breakfast leaves alot to be desired. Not many choices on the menu and not much seating. I have stayed at this hotel twice but did not eat breakfast there the first time. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nice size. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay again when in the area.

Good hotel for your money

Hotel was clean, maintenance was good, and the room was very nice. the bed was super comfortable.

will stay here again next time i go to kings island

altho the pool was a little small, everything worked and was clean, the breakfast was good too

Expected more

While we enjoyed the room, the hotel didn’t offer too many other amenities. The pool was tiny and that area was dusty from construction work. The continental breakfast closed before 9 a.m., which left little opportunity to take advantage of it. The walls aren’t very soundproof. Overall, I expected a bit more for the cost, though the room was nice.

Pricey for the time of year

A little pricey for the time of year when we were just visiting family at Christmas

Much better than expected

We were just looking for a place to spend the night and get back on the road. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room, the courteous staff, and a very reasonable rate.

Not impressed

Room was never cleaned after we got there. Had to go down and ask for more towels twice. Front desk said that they would clean the room but never did.

My first stay at this location proved to be a successful choice. The hotel staff was eager to offer assistance from directions, to personal requests (one staff even took my picture at my request), to suggestions on dining opportunities.

Just outside the hotel was an excellent restaurant complete with outstanding crab cakes and additional excellent staff (matching the hotels’)who made me feel right at home.

OK Room

The room was satisfactory but the overall feeling is just another motel in a field of asphalt. The "suite" included a microwave and a small fridge -- but nothing like a kitchen or a place to spend a week.

Kings Island, during the summer, is a huge attraction.

Great value!

For a family of 5, very comfortable room with 2 queen beds and sleeper sofa. TV somewhat small for the room size. Morning breakfast surprised us - hot foods with typical continental breakfast fare. All in all, would definitely stay at Comfort Suites again. Excellent value.

Located right next door to King’s Island - very convenient.

All we needed was a place to sleep and the big room a plus for comfort. We are usually tripping over our luggage and each other, but here we had plenty of room. Rooms were very clean.
