Pleasantly Surprised
I had read the previous reviews and I was hesitant to stay at this hotel But, we wanted to stay as close to the Riverwalk as possible on our limited budget. This hotel is in a good location to it and offered the type of room we wanted at a reasonable price. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area is small but very nice. Paying to park is pretty much the norm in this area and we knew up front that it would be $15/day, but still cheaper than most of the other hotels in the area. We never felt uncomfortable walking to and from the Riverwalk, day or night. We were in San Antonio to attend our son’s graduation at Fort Sam Houston and they allowed him and another fellow soldier to stay in our room with us the last night without charging us extra. San Antonio is a place I would like to revisit and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Far away from the riverwalk nightlife
The hotel was very clean and confortable, but the air conditioner made a horrible noise each time it turns on.. the second and most important thing is that in the hotel description says it is located at a block of the riverwalk/ turist center, and it is not.

Convenient location
This hotel has seen better days, but the staff is courteous and the location is close to the Riverwalk and the Alamo and is reasonably priced.
