Falling apart, one of the worst
Furniture was falling apart, bed hard as a rock. Was super "unimpressed". Have stayed in SLO for the past 30 years or so and this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Felt the cost might have been due to holiday weekend but still this was bad.

For the price, it was OKAY.
The hotel staff was friendly and they did have continental breakfast available every day. However, my gripe is with the pest control at the hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights and during my stay, I found a cockroach in my room and multiple beetles. I found one cockroach, but there were beetles running around every single day!! For the price of the hotel and it’s location, this hotel should be taken into consideration, however, beware of bugs!!

Not a good experience
Ok I checked in at 3:15pm, first room they gave me was not ready and I had to go back for a room that was. Second room they gave me was a smoking room when I had asked for a non-smoking. I decided to deal with it and not go back for a third time, I was tired and the day was incredibly hot. Linens were very shabby, bedspread was stained. I rested my head against the headboard to watch tv and my damp hair stuck to the layer of tar that coated it. I was disgusted to the point that I took a loss on the reservation and just booked another room at a different hotel. I noticed that as I was leaving, I wasn’t the only unhappy guest.
