We have stayed there 2 times and will surely stay again.
We again found this to be a very clean and comfortable Motel. The heater/air conditioner was so quiet I had to check to be sure it was running. Breakfast was very nice. All one could want for a weekend of relaxation and sight seeing. ample parking added to our convience.
Try the little shops on the main drag through town. I found some copper earrings there and I have been looking for two years. Glad I went shopping in Cherokee.

One of the best ever!
After arriving by motorcycle in a pouring rain the employees at the Baymont made us feel welcome and went out of thier way to help us with check-in, and allowed us to park the bikes out of the rain. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hot coffee & fresh baked cookies in the Lobby were an added treat. This has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed at during my many motorcycle excursions.

Will stay there in the future
The Baymont is slightly off the beaten path - but not so far as to be unwalkable - so it is quiet and relaxing. There are numerous shops just a few hundred yards away and, from that shop area, a connecting foot bridge over the stream that allows you to walk to other adjacent shop and restaurant areas. Our room was large, very clean, and the beds, which have pillow-top mattresses, were quite comfortable. The mini refrigerator and microwave were also a convenient addition. The staff was polite and helpful. We will definitely stay at this inn on future visits to the area.
