AMAZING!!

My youth ministry stayed here for a night between desinations and it was amazing!! The rooms are massive and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and so so helpful. We loved everything about it. not one person had one complant we wanted to just stay there and not go to where we had to go. 5 star for sure. beautiful place great location!!!

Great Stay! Great Room! Can’t Complain!

I read reviews about this hotel and twice tried to find something else but came back to this one because of location near my appointments. I am glad I did. I cannot complain about anything. The room was clean, neat, and very comfortable. The mini-suite setup is the best. What a wonderful way to redo a hotel room. It was nice to come back to the room and have a separate sitting area and sleeping area with desk space and kitchen counter with refrig. Yes, the bathroom is small but it just has toilet and tub. Sink is in open area with plenty of room. Hairdryer is in drawer almost missed that one. Flat screen tv on wall between bed and sofa area. Rotates either way quite easily. Very pleasantly surprised with this hotel that I was determined I was not going to stay in.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

I always travel with a noise maker ($40 from JCPenny) and small. It eliminates alot of noise problems and makes for a guaranteed good night’s sleep.

We really like this hotel and had stayed here last year also. The elevators are very slow. My friends said the ac in their room did not work.

Very nice

Very nice hotel. Nice plasma TV in room, plenty of room for our needs. Only complaint was that the cut fruit in the breakfast buffet tasted funny/bad.

Birmingham golf courses (Oxmoor Valley) is an easy drive. We also drove to Prattville (Capitol Hill) one day...easy drive 1 1/4 hours

Very nice hotel!

The hotel was very nice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The big flat screen TV was nice also. I would definately recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

Football Weekend

Even though this is a fairly new property you’ll discovery some wear and tear. The staff is very young and not all that excited about service but generally they were friendly and responsive.

Sparse amenities in room

I was in the hotel for five nights. Usually decent hotels provide at least shampoo, cream rinse, and hand cream. This hotel provided only shampoo and cream rinse--and not regularly. After three days, I received another shampoo and no cream rinse. Never any cream. When I arrived, the kleenex box was nearly empty. By the third night, the box was empty and was never replaced. Coffee/tea/mini-refrigerator were handy, as was the wireless computer set up. Downstairs, the office for guests was adequate. However, the printer didn’t work very well. Apparently those who worked the desk knew that guests would need to play with a lever to get it to work. There was no sign though. I helped another guest, and I overheard two other guests asking for help at the desk. The person at the front desk (more a bar and deli area) was sometimes overwhelmed--especially in the morning rush.

Glad we stayed there

The hotel staff was very friendly. Nice remodel job. Our 2 dbl bed rm was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located to a number of shops and restaurants.

Very Unhappy

I was not happy with our stay. I had requested a King & were given a double. I was able to have it changed. One elevator does not operate properly. We were stuck at times as the door would not close all the way. Very scary. There was a foul odor in the room & hallways. We went for breakfast in the lobby & ordered. After paying, our ordered was not available. When served our substitute meal, we were disgusted to find a long dark hair scrambled in with the eggs. The room was not cleaned properly when we arrived, there was a crusty substance on the pillows on the sofa, mildew in the toilet, dirty glasses & the shower was dirty. The housekeeper department did not vacuum, wipe the counters or sink. I had to ask them to return twice. I could certainly list other problems that we had as well, for there were several more. I will just say that I feel that the quality of this particular hotel is very poor. It does not live up to the expectations of a hotel chain of the standing of this organization.

Convenient to the Galleria and south Birmingham metro area

Wonderful place to stop off if you’re looking for a convenient place in the southern Birmingham area. down the street from the Galleria mall, and many restaurants. Friendly staff helped make a pleasant stay.

Great Hotel for travel

This was a fantastic hotel for staying with children. The room comfortably accommodated all 5 of us, which is hard to find!

Not impressed

The room was nice but not very clean - had to wash out tub before use - our room was never cleaned while we were there and if I had wanted to wash tubs - dishes and get my own towels I could have stayed home - no one could provide a key for the room safe - because the room was booked thru expedia and paid in advance they said they could not make adjustments on the bill and the manager was suppose to call on Monday and we have never heard from them! Not impressed at all

There are 3 Robert Trent Jones Golf courses with in 10 miles all beautiful and all tuff allow 5 hours per course to play

Rooms were fine - bathroom not real clean and they never cleaned our room - never had clean cups - never had the beds made - couldn’t provide me a key for the room safe - never provided clean towels had to request them. Out of coffee for continental breakfest - because everything was booked in advance thur expedia was told no changes could be made in charges - if I had wanted to clean up and wash dishes I would have stayed home!
