Didn’t keep their promise
When we made our reservation, we made it clear there would be six people in our party, with the ages. When we arrived, we were told we needed to pay for another room. The original room we reserved could have slept all of us. Rooms were musty smelling and bathrooms were extremely small.

What Did I Book?
When we arrived I was extremely disappointed in the appearance and location. Our room shared a parking lot with Taco Bell! I was ready to leave but when we got in the room it was very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. There is no air conditioning so it was stuffy if the window wasn’t open. couldn’t keep window open at night otherwise I would be filling Taco Bell orders in my sleep. Manager was really nice and helpful. there was coffee, donuts and fruit in the lobby, but I didn’t find that out until the day we were leaving.

Crescent City is nice to go to but I probably will never go back again. It is not on my list of places t return to.

Convenient, friendly and comfortable at a bargain price
We stayed for six days at this friendly lodge in order to see the Redwood Forests and the coast of northern California. The Travel Lodge was an inexpensive place to base our adventures. They supplied an internet connection, a safe, and they were located a convenient walking distance for food and information. With the money we saved on lodging we were able to dine every night at some of the best restaurants on the coast.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Don’t waste time on the road because their is plenty unbelievable sites within a few miles of downtown Crescent City. You can travel from the coast to the redwoods in just minutes.
