Good choice for a short stay

The Comfort Suites was the perfect option for us to spend a few days before and after a week on a live-aboard dive boat. We wanted a few days on island to see Providenciales before heading out to dive, and a couple days afterward to decompress before traveling home. It was reasonably priced, great location on Grace Bay, and staffed with friendly people. The king size bed was comfortable and a real treat.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Taxi’s are expensive here -- you can really save by renting an inexpensive car. The car rental for one day was just a few dollars more than a one-way taxi ride from airport to hotel for two people. Taxi’s charge by the person so no savings by filling up the taxi!

Not Impressed

My room had roaches. Also the cleaning people did a less than sterling job. The first day I made coffee, they never cleaned the pot or replaced the coffee. I had to ask. After asking they suppled the coffee, but never cleaned the pot.

Clean and convenient. Great for budget traveler

I chose this because I was only staying on the island for 1 night. Hotel is clean and comfortable with nice big pool. Very short walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, and beautiful Grace Key beach (chairs and towels provided). Great value! I would stay here again.

Affordable Tuks and Caicos

I stayed at this hotel for business in Provodenciales. I expected a pretty shady couple of nights seeing the hotel was a fracrion of other hotel prices. I surprisingly found that the hotel was clean, equipted, and the service was spectacular! The desk staff were locals that would gladly set you up with Taxi’s restaurants and scenic views.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

To see the real islands you need to reach out to the local people who are very welcoming once you open up to them. I spent 3 hours with a taxi driver who just drove me around and gave me the inside scoop.

Great TCI Value near Beaches

Great value for an island destnation near beaches. Small strip mall and grocery nearby along with 2 restruants. True High Speed internet. Breakfast was okay.

Traveler's tip

If you arrive late desk manned by security - limited information available abd no access to cash. Taxi from airport $26 with limited change and hotel counldn’t help so he got a big tip.

Comfort Suites, Provo

Great price in an area of huge prices. No beach, and the beach is hard to get to with the wall-to-wall condo blocking access, but if you’re looking for clean, comfortable, affordable, handy-to-everything accommodations, this is the place. It has a bar with a friendly and fun bartender, a pool, and several shops and restaurants right out the door.

Best bang for the buck

I had read negative reviews on this hotel but I think it is a great place for the money. It is in a great location that you can walk to many things. The continental breakfast was great and was served at a resturant next to the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. If you want to spend 500.00 go some where else but this is all you need in Provo. My wife and I will stay here again.

Great for Less

This was a wonderful place to stay if you are a budget traveler. What you save on hotel cost can be used to purchase food and activities. Great Location. Easy access to beach, restaurants, souvenir shops, pharmacy and food store. Will be returning. PS also a great place to learn how to scuba.

This hotel may or may not be the right fit for you.

The Comfort Suites in Turks and Caicos served its purpose. It was a place to sleep while we weren’t on the beach or at a wedding function. If I were to return to TC I would most likely not stay here again. The room was clean and the staff was helpful but if you’re looking to be spoiled try the Grace Bay club, Seven Stars or Villa Ren. If you’re on a budget Comfort Suites is the place for you. OK pool bar and not too far from the beach. But definitely rent a car. There are so many beaches to visit.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

The Infinity Bar was very nice. Also, again....RENT A CAR and check out the island.

Do Not Stay Here

Upon arrival had to carry luggage up 3 flights of steps. Using the bathroom instantly found out that the toilet seat was broken Next noticed that there was no hot water. Hotel did not have hot water for the next 5 days. No explanation was given (kept being told they were working on it) suntan lotion does not wash off well in cold water! Ants crawling around bathroom sink each morning. Breakfast with no variety- nothing warm. Some Comfort hotels at least have a waffle maker.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Travel around the island and check out all the wonderful beaches, some are more remote and are very peaceful and beautiful

Good value, location

In the midst of seaside resorts costing big bucks is the Comfort Suites. A well designed facility with a convenient walk to Grace Bay beach (which is fabulous). Also convenient walk to basic shopping and a selection of restaurants, plus close access to bike and car rental for day trips. We had a problem of lack of hot water for two days, and a staff tired of complaints. Pool provides a place to relax and watch scuba lessons. Room was quite comfortable. We would go back.

lBad Service, ow price, nice Rooms,

The Hotel has a great location. 2 blocks away from the beach. They have a little area in the beach for Hotels guests, despite not being on the actual beach. The Beach chairs are tragic. The offer complimentary breakfast, which is not special at all, but it is ok. They offer concentrated juices, toasts, pastries, and whole fruit. They serve everything in paper cups and plates. The Staff is not friendly, warm nor welcoming. However it seems to be cultural. No matter where you go, restaurants, stores, etc, people have the same attitude. The island was very quiet, only the all inclusive hotels were busy (Beaches and Club Med). We did one of those boat excursions. We paid $200 and it is not worth it. They cooked lobster in one of the keys. The snorkeling was bad, we had to wait for the captain to catch enough lobsters for lunch. I was hoping to go far and visit the other islands, but there are no boat tours that do that. Overall, the island is kind of expensive (restaurants, groceries, etc)when you compared it to Mexico, therefore I would recommend to stay in an all inclusive hotel. Across from the Hotel, there is a little mall called: Ports of Call. It has a nice home furniture store and few places to eat. The most popular is Jimmys It is kind of an American bar with burgers and casual food. Upstairs there is a pizza place (always empty) and another restaurant that has most of the tables outdoors. I rented a car and the most developed area is where this hotel is.

Traveler's tip on dining

Caicos Café is few blocks away from the Hotel and the food there is really good. Try not to go too late otherwise they even take the napkin off your lap for your to leave.Sea Side Café is inside Ocean Club Hotel, they are have good service and the food there is good. We had lobster a couple of nights.Saltmills Café is a cute coffee shop 2 blocks away from the hotel. The Infinity Bar is really nice, during the day and night, they have a nice lounge and a good drink menu. Service is still poor.

Purely for sleeping!!!!!

Roaches and bugs of all kinds. Electric does not work without key in room. Pool too cold. Grounds well maintained. Could definately use an update or remodel. Breakfast buffet was skimpy and no milk for coffee after buffet cleaned up.

It was a very pleasant stay

Great value. Conveniently located, spatious room, very close (3 minutes’ walk) to a wonderful beach. Provo’s hotel are very expensive. In this hotel you can enjoy the island without getting broke. It is in a very "built" part of the island

Traveler's tip on dining

It is close to very nice restaurants. We enjoyed very much the Sushi restaurant at Salt Mills. It was great.

It’ll do.

This was a transition hotel for us, one night before and one night after a 7 night resort. The place was very clean. Starting to see a few areas that are run down. It was fairly comfortable if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night. Staff not exceptionally pleasant. Maintenance leaves at 6pm so if something breaks after that, too bad. Pool area is nice. Access to the beach is pretty close, but do not go alone. You have to walk down an alley through some buildings and it can be pretty isolated.

Traveler's tip on shopping

For what little shopping is here, this hotel is right in the middle of it.

Great place to stay for the money

This place is great if you don’t want to spend alot of money on accomodation. You get free breakfast in the morning...a nice pool...a bar...the beach across the street and many restauarants in walking distance. A bargain in my opinion. If you are expecting luxurious accomodation, this is not the place, but it is clean, adequate and is great for someone who just wants a nice, decent place to sleep and spend the day out and about exploring the beach and such. Grace Bay Beach is a short walk across the street (5 minutes). I would stay here again for sure!

Would go back

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and activities. The hotel is not luxurious but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shops. This hotel is a good value for the money.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The hotel includes breakfast, which is helpful because eating out on the island is expensive.

Will be returning to the island and staying at the Comfort Suites again

Great island-absolutely beautiful. Snorkeling was awesome. We found the hotel a great value for the money-very close to Grace Bay-5 minute walk. The staff were friendly and helpful and we didn’t want to leave.

Nice stay in Provo

The Comfort Suites is a good value for the price. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is good with the beach just a 5 minute walk away. Considering the prices at most good hotels on the island, this is the best value available.

Good location for not being on beach.

We went with a group of boys, limited transportation, great location for shopping, activities, and dinning. Staff was good. Breakfast ok cereal, croissants, didn’t like warm milk. Washer/dryer on site would have been nice. would stay again,
